A Way Forward. A modest proposal
Posted on June 27, 2012 | No CommentsIt seems to me that the political process, if not already broken and wrested from us, is out-gunned and ill equipped to deal with the forces ranged above and against us. But rather than turn from politics and either roll over and play dead, or pretend to ourselves we are simply waiting and preparing for violent revolution we must take back the democratic process. It was ours. It must be ours again. And I think we can do it. -
The Only Way to Profit From a Stock Market Bubble
Posted on June 27, 2012 | No CommentsOne bubble-market strategy is to just put everything in cash and hide under the bed. How boring! Plus, as your neighbors brag about their profits at cocktail parties, you’ll feel like an idiot until the bubble bursts. Remember, even after your neighbors’ profits have turned to losses and you look smart, you can never get those cocktail parties back! -
How to Control Your Emotions When You Trade
Posted on June 26, 2012 | No CommentsIn order to be successful in trading, you must not fall prey to the very emotions you are trying to exploit. In short term trading when we win, someone must lose. This is a hard cold fact of short term trading! And the successful traders usually are calm and very methodical in their trading and making money from other traders who react emotionally to market events and are therefore losing money. -
Five Monkeys as a Financial Lesson
Posted on June 25, 2012 | No CommentsFor my thinking readers it is time to examine world cultures. Every country has its culture built on the same mindless system as the monkeys. The cry is, “We have always done it that way”. And they are so imbued with the culture, system, methods, whatever, that it is almost impossible to change unless there is some type of catastrophe – natural or man made. -
What’s next…
Posted on June 23, 2012 | No CommentsIt’s easy to look around the world and think “It can’t happen here. It won’t happen here.” But this is really foolish thinking. Governments steal, then spend, other people’s money with reckless abandon. They conjure paper currency out of thin air, rob the future earnings of generations which have not even been born, and create mind-numbing barriers to real growth. These are not people who can be trusted to do the right thing. -
7 Ways to Tell If You Are on the Trail to Success
Posted on June 20, 2012 | No CommentsOne important factor separating winners from losers is debt. Although mortgage financing to acquire real estate, as well as wisely arranged business loans, can prove beneficial, personal borrowing is normally a mistake. This means that the clothes on your back, the furniture in your home, and the vehicle you drive, are owned without obligation. -
What Should You Buy Now?
Posted on June 20, 2012 | No CommentsWhy do stocks go up? Sure, more buyers than sellers, but there is more to it than that. The company has to show it is making a profit now and will make a bigger profit later. That means the stockholder may receive a larger dividend or the company has a higher net worth. Simple. However i f the economy is shrinking due to large unemployment who is the company going to sell its products to? -

Why Stock Market Charts Work
Posted on June 18, 2012 | No CommentsChart patterns repeat. They repeat and repeat year in and year out. The charts of the stock market today and those of 100 years ago are exactly the same. I am talking about the patterns that repeat. The reason is brutally simple. Man has not changed. His reasons for buying and selling are two basic emotions – fear and greed. The chart shows them clearly. It is up to the trader, oops investor, to learn them. -
5 Perkara Yang Tak Patut Dibuat Masa Pasaran Jatuh
Posted on June 18, 2012 | No CommentsMain saham ni bukan boleh sepanjang masa. Kita bukannya robot!
